I split my time as a paid intern between OUP’s Academic Social Media team and their Publicity Team. I was the point person for their Tumblr and Medium, scheduled content for all platforms through Percolate Next, and compiled analytics reports for weekly presentation on their Facebook and Twitter feeds. In addition to these duties, I updated media subscription lists using Publicity Assistant, and wrote outreach emails, press releases, and galley letters.

I was paid to help Aspen with line by line copy-editing on various writing projects. I also handled her interactions with important contacts in the TV, Film, and Publishing industries. I was frequently on call to help Aspen develop a not for profit social media platform she was working on at the time.
